Editing..

I am constantly re-editing the last post published.  If there were flaws yesterday, there are fewer today.  However, if I don't "publish" the post when I finish writing the main body, I'll never post it.  It gets buried beneath all the rest, like all the "Conversations with a past life" writings on Facebook and my "conversations" with Natalie Yewshenko, I imagined I would use later, since with writing an actual person, the thoughts flow much more smoothly and I cover much more ground than when I am writing alone...  I got stuck on Randi.  I never thought I would write about her.  I didn't see the purpose. Now I do.  What I thought I'd write about, I haven't yet touched.  It seems as if there is so much.  But it only comes out when the time is right.  Yesterday I felt stuck in a box.  Today, during our morning walk, Margarita asked me if we were going to leave for my birthday.  I said, "I put it aside, since we haven't talked about it since the last conversation a week ago."  She said, "yes, we have talked about it..."  I have a tendency towards invalidating my birthday. So, I figured that June 21st would appear the day after and we have a whole new year ahead of us again... We will be leaving in a short while.  I will not take my computer with me, since it would be horrible thing, should someone steal it...  I will sacrifice the writing ideas and focus on having some time alone with Margarita.  In the end, that's what it's all about anyway. No?  I will be taking my camera and should have some awesome photos on Facebook on Tuesday; album #72 Noalinco, Veracruz

I briefly mentioned in one of my writings how the drawing began. I was sitting at the Tea Lounge in Park Slope drinking a glass of red wine, October 2002 when, out of the blew, Randi's older sister Jodi passed my table. The last time I saw her, she was leaving for Seattle with her boyfriend. When we saw each other that day, she told me that she was living in Portland, Oregon and married to someone else. I told her I was going to move in with a friend who lives in Portland (James) at the end of January. She happily gave me her # for when I arrived there. When she left, I started writing on a small piece of papers, something to the tone of "That was strange. Randi's sister just appeared infront of me..." And then I started doodling. The original pen doodle always was with the color drawing. Now it isn't. I was just looking for it. No where to be found. But I found some NYC drawing not on facebook...
