A medical breakthrough... or a momentary 21st century enlightenment

I'm at the crossroads of encountering the cause of my heart attack...  And it has much less to do with saturated fat and cholesterol than something that caused problems from early childhood...

The organizer of the 30,000 member Facebook Magnesium group responded to a long conversation about the eficacy of gallbladder cleansing for removing gallstones (I removed mine in 2006) with a scientific artical from the library of medicine (NIH) explaining the cause of gallstones... low glutathione levels... Now, low glutathione levels are connected with histidelia/undermethylation...  Histidelia is the problem metabolizing histamines... and one of the main causes of autism, schizophrenia and aggression disorders...  It is also a main cause of asthma and a whole list of allergies (since asthma is directly caused by allergies)...  Constant reactiveness to airborne and foodborne "stimulants"/antigens/invaders causes an elevation in adrenaline/cortisol, which is the main cause of chronic inflamation that is the main cause of atherosclerosis...

Remember one thing Mom, the day I had the heart attack, I thought I was having an allergic reaction to soybean oil in the cheap truffles I had eaten the night before and that morning (it was a birthday present from the landlady to Margarita)...  And if you find that hard to believe... In January during the fair of Leon, I had bought high quality chocolate for everyone...  And I noticed two immediate reactions to the chocolate: 1) immediate headache; 2) joint pain... If it was a reaction on the 12th, since I noticed a sudden increase in bp, the arteries inflamed at the moment that possibly part of a plaque broke off... And, I can assure you that plaque breaking apart in people who have greatly improved their diet and are cleansing their blood and detoxifying their liver, is a normal event and probably shouldn't cause a heart attack.  Then again, if you follow the Vegan organizations against atherosclerosis, you'll find that they claim that 50% of the heart attack deaths are sudden and with people who (on paper) are very healthy...

So, I will be insisting upon the cardiologist to focus upon the chronic inflamation-caused atherosclerosis and not upon the blood/lipid-cholesterol profiles... That the issue is with the cause and not with the symptoms and I can assure you... and much better in a few days... that it has totally to do with genetics/enzymes/metabolism of certain very important amino acids and not to do with diet...

And, please, remember one more thing (and you can verify it with your pharmacist at Hunterdon Medical Center):  the amino acid (protein) Glutathione is the body's #1 anti-Oxidant... And if a person has a deficiency of glutathione, which causes the inflamation in the gallbladder and the subsequent formation of gallstones, the person is without the anti-oxidant that prevents the oxidation of LDL cholesterol...  The question has absolutely nothing to do with LDL cholesterol being bad... It has to do with the reality that if you can't protect the LDL cholesterol from oxidation, you can't protect your inflamed arteries from being "skinned" (like a skinned knee)... And that's what causes the plaques...  Plaques are like scabs for protecting the wound caused by VLDL cholesterol, oxidized LDL cholesterol and too much calcium in the blood stream.  As you must know, two much calcium in the blood stream causes the hardening of arteries...  What you may not know is that magnesium controls the amount of calcium in the blood stream and relaxes the muscles that the calcium tenses...  The are complimentary minerals for tensing and relaxing muscles... Two much calcium in the blood stream means that you don't have enough magnesium... and not having enough magnesium means that you don't have enough Vitamin D, meaning that your arteries are going to tense up and inflame and your bp will rise... And it also brings up the question of if your high level of calcium is because your bones are being leeched of calcium, causing osteoporosis... But, again, the question is why?

Could it be due to hormone imbalances (vitamin D is technically a hormone produced by the kidneys in the company of magnesium)...

And what is the cause of a magnesium deficiency?

You all love to place me in the realm of some form of crazy...  It's very convenient for all of you (including Bruce's children)... Have you shared my ideas or information with the epidemiologist Lisa?  Most of my information comes from epidemiology and epigenetics...

One more thing, now that you've got my time and attention:

Take yourself back to when I was diagnosed with asthma... Do you remember who diagnosed me and why?  What was occurring at the time that I would be diagnosed with asthma?  I guess Daddy was alive when I was diagnosed...

I would bet that you misunderstood a comment by the diagnostician at the time... They certainly told you and my father, "don't worry, children usually outgrow asthma by the age of 5..."  Why do I mention that?  Because that's what the literature states...  And, because I knew that I was asthmatic throughout elementary, middle, and high school...  I couldn't play the fast paced sports (like basketball) that required sprinting and suffered during the middle of 30 minutes of gym calethstenics...  I got winded and dizzy so easily and the gym teachers repeatedly got annoyed with me... They could have called me lazy...  But, it felt as if my brain was bouncing against the walls of my skull...  I remember laying on Seth's bed when you were with my father at Sloan Kettering placing my mouth next to the corner of the walls trying to breath, since the air was cooler there... probably because the wall was cooler...  And, I have that problem with sleeping when the air isn't fresh...  In the beginning of our marriage, Margarita and I battle over my need for the window to be open...  And this isn't psychosomatic... although it could have been considered psychosomatic when my father died... But, today, we know that that wasn't so much the case, since we can prove it today scientifically...

I believe that believing that I no longer was astmatic at the age of five helped you to focus on all the stress you must focus upon in trying to develop a career for yourself... But if you had to worry about my asthma and my allergies and tell Sheri that she couldn't have a cat... or stop smoking in my presence (smoking enabled you to relax) and remove the carpets when you didn't have money for enamelling the wood floor and buy new furniture... And with your "three little piggies" you could so easily say that you would be throwing away money since we would destroy the beautiful new furniture with our dirtiness...

You aren't asthmatic because you must use an inhalator for preventing death by suffocation...  As you know, there are levels... like the difference between overweight, slightly obese and extremely obese...  When you place 1 million overweight and obese people in a straight line for least to greatest, you won't see where one has truly changed from lesser to greater... Most asthmatic attacks are caused by a sudden increase in stress (inflamation) or what the person's immune system has identified as an antigen (it doesn't have to be airborne), also (inflamation)... And I must remind you of my experience not being able to breath in Channel Home Centers when I entered with you...  But, we can't identify the chemical in the air (I identify with what treated the wood) that caused the not being able to breath... and, if we took blood tests at that moment, it is certain that we would not find anything in my body that could have cuased a reaction...

Imagine MOM... maybe it is correct that I behaved in ways that gave me the status of pariah...  But, chronic allergies and what may be the biological cause of them are also linked to mental illness such as OCD, Schizophrenia and Aggression disorders and Autism and it has been shown scientifically that balancing certain enzymes in the person's stomach changing how the person metabolizes certain amino acids has caused the reversal of the "mental illnesses" and allowed the people to return to society if not allowed them to become true successes...

But, for me, the information comes a bit too late... and would fall on deaf ears anyway.

It's my word against all of yours... and why it's truly a waste of time to communicate with you and the rest them...

Oh and just so you understand:  My diagnosis is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)... Sudden death of father at the age of 4.5., the depression and avoidance of the mother suddenly and shockingly widowed, the violence of the uncle when the boy was 4.5 and his mother wasn't available because she was with his father dying in the hospital, years of abuse by his older sister Sheri, heavy bullying in school and on the busstops from 2nd grade through 10th grade...  Diagnoses of FAP/Gardners Syndrome  at the age of 12 and major surgery at the age of 13, being a Jew in a world of anti-Semitic "WASPs", Irish, Italian, Polish and German Catholics... and having a physically and mentally abusive and neglectful mother... So, readers (aside from my mother and my sisters and my extended family), where in this list do you find a lack of information leading to PTSD?  What did I write that is NOT a traumatic event for a child?

And just so you understand:  I don't remember having been beaten by my Uncle Stan when my father was dying in the hospital.  I was certain it was the 2-year-old Beth beaten by my uncle.  But, one of the family members who holds me as pariah and would never attempt at understanding my position or my history had insisted at the Passover table that it was me that his father "beat the shit out of"...

So, tell me, what could be worse for a 4-year-old child losing his father to cancer?  That same 4-year-old child repeatedly having the shit beat out of him by his father's brother when he was losing his father to cancer!

Was this not made sufficiently clear MOM?

You of all people should understand what is meant by "the formative years"...  How did you, Uncle Stan, Sheri and dad help form me as a human being between the age of 4 and the age of 15?

Answer that question honestly por favor...

Or leave me the fuck alone!  Did you understand my Spanish?

I definitely believe that you suffered a terrible traumor when your father died. A child so young does not not have the emotional stamina to withstand such a tremendous loss. This loss caused a damage that you were never able to recover from. But I am happy for you that you found Margarita and that you have successfully had a loving relationship together.
